As the Belt and Road Initiative has transformed from ideas to actions, from visions to realities, and from initiatives to global popular public goods, the international cooperation on the Belt and Road has achieved fruitful results. In the past two years, Chinese local companies have carried out substantial project investments in dozens of Belt and Road countries and regions, these overseas Chinese companies have hired nearly 500 000 local employees. More and more enterprises raise their urgent need to improve the Chinese and professional skills of these employees in the host countries. There is an imperative to cultivate a team of local builders of the Belt and Road who are proficient in techniques, languages and cultures. The book series of Chinese for Industries are important educational supporting resources for cultivating local builders of the Belt and Road, and a key practical foundation of vocational education global” as well as an important curriculum content of high-level professional and international construction in vocational colleges. The "Chinese for Industries" online courses integrate the Chinese for Industrial textbooks and digital media learning resources to provide a complete learning process of teaching、learning、practicing、testing、managing and developing, use the application scenarios of vocational skills and terminology in a multimedia environment, which can further improve the learning experience and effect of learners in all aspects.
Based on the four typical equipment maintenance modules of mechanical equipment maintenance, electrical equipment maintenance, hydraulic equipment maintenance, and CNC machine tool maintenance in mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance jobs, and the common sense of maintenance safety, the supporting network course of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Maintenance Technology designed five modules of learning content, enabling learners to carry out targeted learning according to their jobs.
